Ability to Report on Captured Payments

I only capture payment once I've shipped the product. All the reporting modules seem to report sales on the date the order was entered into the system. Sometimes I have backordered items that will ship all together weeks after the order was placed. I really care about revenue -- which only happens when the charges are captured. I would like access to a report that details payments captured by day, geography, etc...

Are you aware that we have Order Filtering based on payment capture under Manage Orders?

Not quite the same thing, but it's similar.

Order filtering would be useful to accomplish my objective if I could sort the orders by date of payment capture as opposed to the order date. This could be another very useful wish list item.
