    Blog for my website

I think this may be more of a reality I do not know about than a dream feature for some future time, but I would like to have a blog on my website that is hosted on my site and integrates with products on my website, rather than a separate blogger type web service. Is this available today?

There is a Miva module Scot's Blogger https://scotsscripts.com/product/scotsblogger.html and you could also have WordPress on your own server. Scot's Blogger integrates nicely into your store. With a bit of PHP in a child theme, you can have a WordPress blog that will look very much like your store.

V10 will cover this thoroughly but it's about 18 months out.

I'd vote for the 'Scot's Blogger' route as its about 1/5 or less of the time to integrate and also doesn't come with the enormous complexity that WordPress has become. For a blog that supports an e-commerce site, WP is vastly over-featured (IMO).

Rick Wilson What do you mean when you say "V10 will cover this thoroughly.." Does that mean Miva V10 will include a fully integrated blog feature?

I realized this is a very old post, but just wondering if Miva V10 will include a fully integrated blog feature as noted a long time ago? Thanks

Eventually yes, but it's still a bit off. For now the best way to do it within Miva is to get the Scots Blogger add on, I think it's in apps.miva.com
                Thanks,
