Jim McCormick is removing (deleting) the item still the only way to do this?
You can edit the tracking number and void/recreate a label but there is no way to edit the shipments after they've been created. You have to remove the line item, add it back, and then create your shipments again for the "new" item.

It's been a while since I've done that on the shipping thing, but there's a way to split a shipment and achieve what you're describing.

Thanks Rick - and thanks Jim for writing back. Our products have numerous attributes associated with them so removing an item and adding it back in is a huge production for us and not worth our time. It would be great if we could "edit" the line item....same goes for accidentally groupoing 2 items as shipping together - there is no way for us to undo that and separate the shipments and assign the individual tracking numbers accordingly.

If this flexibility could be added to the wish list, it would be great.

As longtime users of Miva, we've got a whole host of wish list items. We will try to continue to post them in this forum.

    Davjav.

You can't 'edit' the line item but you can remove the line item and add it back in. I know it's not exactly the same as clicking an 'edit' but does allow you to make changes if you need to.

    Hi Rick,
I appreciate your reply. I have been told I cannot do the specific tasks I'd like to do. Can you point me to a place where I can find out more information? Would the support team be able to assist?

More Flexibility in Order Processing Area

I wish we were able to modify specifics of an order even after it has shipped and tracking entered.
I wish we could "undo" creating a shipment and be able to modify or split items. Sometimes we inadvertently group two items together for a shipment when actually they ship separately.
Working...
