Ability to "dupe and revise"

We have certain customers who reorder the same item over and over - it would be nice if we could go into their last order and hit 'duplicate' in order processing window so that we can duplicate the order and then make any necessary changes - instead of having to type everything in all over again.

Same goes for products. We often sell products with similar but not identical attributes. It would be great to be able to call up a product and duplicate it with a slightly different name - and then tweak as necessary - instead of having to build from scratch each time.

Thanks Scott - If I am not mistaken, the subscription services is something that would be offered live on the site - Unfortunately this is a very custom order specific to a customer - so not something we would want on the site but only on the backend for us for processing. It also requires MivaPay, which we do not currently subscribe to....

Just wish there was more ability to do "dupe & revise" type work on the backend. It would help us tremendously in many of our tasks.

You can shop as customer, view their order history and hit reorder and that'll create the same basket.

True, but that does involve a few extra clicks. I like how PayPal lets me "copy" an invoice. I just view the list of them (in my account admin), click copy for the one I need and it's ready to go.

Something simple that can be done right from the Order Processing screen.
