Sometimes we have products that we remove but would like to keep to maybe reactivate later or to steal bits and pieces from. I know they can be inactivated but it can be confusing when searching in the backend if there are active and inactive versions of similar products. What I do now use an 'Archive' category and move them into there but I have to activate it, and move the products to archive, then the affected products and the archive category need to be made inactive again so they don't show during a search. It would be great if there was a draft/work/archive folder that you could drop stuff into that would automagically be hidden from searches from the storefront and possibly even from the admin as it can get pretty cluttered.
