I spoke with our dev team and we are able to re-create it and have a bug filed. It happen when you have a incorrect login and then open a new window in a new tab. If you don't open a new tab it works correctly.

Miva 10.01 on multiple sites. (Using Win10/Chrome). It usually happens when i open a new tab.

I have yet to see this happen. I get in once, then the message goes away. What version of Miva and are you doing anything different where it comes back after you close it? Is this on a new page or still on the homescreen?

In today's installment of "Grumpy Old Developer Yells At Miva to Get Off His Lawn":

How many times do I have to dismiss the "There has been X number of failed login attempts you pathetic loser of a typist" before the message disappears.

Five times now and still counting. Make that six.

The bigger question - why are you being allowed to attempt more than 3 tries? That annoying message does have a click to close X on it
