Gift Certificate Status

    Gift Certificate Status

    I cannot find a way control the gift certificate product's status after sale. It defaults to "shipped" after my customer makes the purchase in the store. However my integration for order export will grab "pending" status orders. Does anyone know of a way to control a gift certificate's status to Pending?

    IRO,

    No setting to change as Miva will always mark that as shipped since there is nothing to fulfill. I ran this past the team and you could update the order status with template code or an API call on INVC to change the order status back to pending.

      Wayne, can the "Shipped" status be manually changed back to "Pending"? If so, is there any documentation on it? Thanks!

        No manual change but you could update the order status with template code or an API call. Contact our developer support group ([email protected]) if you need suggestions on how to address this.

          Thanks Wayne, I think it was just one order so this might be "overkill". Maybe it needs to be added to the "Dream" list.
