    btw. you can do this yourself (but it'd still be nice to have built in).

    create a custom order field called Additional_Message.
    add: <mvt:item name="customfields" param="Read_Order( l.settings:order:id, 'Additional_Message'', l.settings:custom:additional_message)" /> at the start of the customer email template
    place: &mvt:custom:additional_message; where you want it to display.

    then, when resending it, open the Custom Field popup in the admin, enter your message, save and then resend your message. (this is the part that is clunky IMO. i'd rather see it work by just entering the message in the Order Emails popup.)

    Anyone else think it would be handy to have the ability to add a message to an email that was resent through the admin?

    For example, you make an order adjustment and can say,

    Thanks Karen,

    We've change your shipping from 3-day air to 1 day dog&pony.

    or whatever
