Upsale > Exclude Business Group or Availability Group

Random idea which may or may not be useful. We have some larger customers who only buy a group of products approved by their main office and we use availability groups so they can see their custom folder on login, but upsale items which are available to the other retail customers still appear for these folks which can cause confusion. So I was thinking it would be good if when creating an upsale you could also include / exclude certain groups.

I might be able to sort this out with code, but still think it the ability to include/exclude individual upsale items by customer, business group or availability group could be generally useful.

Sounds like a good idea. I could see using something like this to promote more User Accounts be made - UpSale for logged in customers and not Guests. We also do Military and Law Enforcement Discounts which are tied to accounts, so having more granular control over UpSales may give a value-added experience to these customers.

The can be sorted out with a bunch of SMT code, but yes, Miva should have all 'product' offerrings adhering to Price/Availability group configurations. (if i remember, if an upsell DOESN'T have any qualifing products, then its skipped...not positive doh.
