Being that funding merchant transactions is heavily predicated on PayPal’s ability to monitor shipping status. Chiefly because it is the only tool they have to measure merchant’s ability to fulfill orders before a complaint might be received.
Integration would simply eliminate most if not all of the friction points associated with the PayPal fulfillment process between all three parties.
