List-style Product Layout in Page Builder

I have a couple of stores that I am really trying to get on board with PageBuilder, but the limitations keep throwing it back into using "old code". Could the ability to display category, search, and product list results in a list-style layout, please be considered?

I don't see this being used across a vast majority of sites anymore but it is something that can be added or created with Flex Components.

So will a Flex Component be added or will I have to create one?

You (or someone) would have to create it. If we get enough demand we might, but that's not on our short term list.

Thanks. FWIW, I have two large stores that rely heavily on list-style layout. One uses it to make it easier for customers to order. The other uses it to neatly display the product description (on the CTGY, SRCH and PLST) to help make it quicker for the customer to determine if it's the part they need.

Also, I am really, really trying to get long-time store owners on board with PageBuilder. But I'm having to either just take parts of it or spoon-feed it with earplugs in. It's even more frustrating when a store has just gone through a makeover (updating to a newer version of Shadows), and new features seem to need the template to be updated to use them. Or even worse, when updating to the latest version of Shadows breaks template code that a site needs to use because PageBuilder can't handle what the store owner needs.

I have a hunch that if you took the source from that Flex Component we provide and used AI, you (or someone) could write this in an hour or two with an LLM.
            Thanks,

Probably. Are there any MivaLearn videos that could be followed along with to learn how to do this? You know, like all the DIY YouTube videos that teach you how to do anything. I would absolutely love to watch that.
