We had a development site here: "dev.example.com"
We now no longer use that address, as the site is now live here: "www.example.com"
Google is now indexing "dev.example.com".
Can I change my htaccess file to redirect all traffic to "www.example.com"? Probably a 301 in order to teach the search engines to only use "www.example.com".
I'd like all variations of "dev.example.com/example.html" traffic to be pointed to the homepage at "www.example.com".
