Stuck - Problem with Display of Subject Field in CGI Generated Form Mail

    HI All,

I have looked high and low but can not shine a light on this problem. Email Client is Thunderbird 17.0.8. I would have said this is a Thunderbird problem since it involves 2 TBs, both the same version, one works OK and one will not display the Subject Field data. Now that does sound like a TB problem except the same problem occurs when using Hostasasurs' Horde web mail application.

Hostasasurs original setup the CGI Forms Mail when we moved to them several years ago. Yes, I know the next question, How long has this been happening? I can't tell you because the client is on vacation and kind of said in passing this Message was not displaying data in the Subject Field.

I think it is something to do with this entry on the first line email text file "X-Flag: [x-flag]". I looked all over have have not been able to find an explanation of X-Flag and its associated command.
Below is a copy of the text file

    X-Flag: [x-flag]

Typically that would occur if the headers are not terminated properly with a line break carriage return combination. Please open a support ticket on this with the form url, and reference this post so it gets assigned to me, and I can check it out for you.
