DIY Facebook Comments for product page.

Hi,

I know MIVA provides a paid service that will do this, but I was wondering if there was any DIY info floating around? It seems like it should be pretty simple, until you have to address the dynamic URL for different products.

Any help would be welcome!

Hey Jason -

PM me your email address. I can send you the instructions we use internally when doing the Facebook Comments setup.

Facebook actually handles the dynamic urls, you actually don't need to do anything.

At a high level here are the steps:

1. Create a Facebook App
2. Add the Facebook JavaScript to the page
3. Add Facebook div where you want comments to display

This is awesome info. I wish I have this to reference when I implemented it on my site. Just curious, Do you have a similar doc for social login? I see a lot of sites starting to have this capability. Definitely a big win for UI experience if we can add this. Thanks
