Just what the subject says. I've gotten these every once in a while, thought it was a fluke but they keep coming, and now I am finally wondering....is it me???

    Today's post that I cannot access: https://www.miva.com/forums/node/699783

This does not happen on most all threads/posts.

    Thanks,

    Jamie

Is there a specific click path which lead to that? That link doesn't look normal; I can't access it either.

No clue. That's as far as I got. Most resolve to a full link, but the ones not allowing me access do not.

I'm not clear on how you're getting to such a link? Is it coming via email if not something on the actual forum?

I think this happens when a forum admin deletes or somehow deactivates a thread. I seem to see them only in cases where the subject is something that might not be appropriate for the forums.

It comes from the forum. Daily emails, which were set up in my profile account of the forum and sent from the forum.

That would make sense as to why the link never resolves, Kent, but they are generally posted by regular forum member names that I recognize from the forum, and I've not seen on subject line that would have been inappropriate.

Jamie, occasionally a forum poster will request that a post be deleted. This may or may not have been the case with this post. FWIW, I can't see what it was either.

Thanks Leslie. I think I'll chalk it up to just that.

I appreciate everyone's responses. Eases my mind to know that I am not missing anything :)
