    Google Chrome error Unchecked runtime.lastError

I'm thinking Google Chrome has either lost its mind or something is going with sites I've been checking. Does anyone know what is up this error:

Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.
the first line of code is

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html>

In cases like this, it's often helpful to copy the text of the error message and paste it into your favorite search engine, and see what you get. Chances are, other people have seen the same error and discussed it on various tech Q&A sites. A quick search for "The message port closed before a response was received" turns up a number of results.

      Hi Leslie,

This is usually due to a problematic extension you have in Chrome. Try either disabling your extensions, or open the site in a private window without extension and see if the error goes away.

Yeah, I did that. I'm thinking it doesn't like something I've had around for a while.
