I use Cloudflare because they are big, affordable, reliable and I use them as my CDN.

I use domainmonger.com. Started with them cause they where local. Stuck with them cause I never have issues that are not resolved within hours. Not cheap (like 17/yr) but works for me.

I'm using Namecheap for now. I switched from Godaddy because every time I called with a technical question it became a sales call for them.

I don't have a domain with Google, but I was thinking of getting a couple. I'd like to purchase the .org and .net versions of my .com domain, just to keep them from being bought up by someone else and causing confusion for users. So Thanks for the news, Scott!

While we're on the subject: what hoster would y'all recommend for this purpose? No offense to our hosts, but Miva's price for domain names is quite a bit higher than competitors like Squarespace and GoDaddy. I don't expect to put any content at these new domains; I just want to own them. Squarespace and GoDaddy's prices are quite low, but how is the service? Would you recommend them, or someone else?

    Thanks --

Might be of interest to those that have a Google domain and hadn't heard of this development.
