Miva Merchant updates include code and database changes that can take a short time to process. While we thoroughly test all updates to ensure they will not affect up-time it is still a good precaution to run updates outside of peak hours.

10.13.04 is minor release including the following feature highlights
Global API Online / Offline Toggle
A new centralized setting allows administrators to toggle all API services on or off. It is ideal for mitigating issues caused by unexpected API traffic surges and is useful during system maintenance or updates involving database changes.
New Custom Field Feature
Product Custom fields can now be migrated to their own table. This can offer significant performance improvements on large sites, and where custom fields are used in search / relevance sorting / or as facets.
Apple Pay Integration Improvements
Introduced a new PageBuilder fragment that allows merchants to easily add Apple Pay to any PageBuilder page.
Sendlane Integration Update
An update to the 10.13.03 Sendlane Improvement. This update included the addition of marketing opt in during checkout. Previously, a content item needed to be manually added to a template file for the checkbox the appear. If the Sendlane Configuration section (the content item) is missing, it will be added automatically during the 10.13.04 update.
Note: This update does not modify templates in stores where the Sendlane Configuration section was already added manually.
Tax Cloud Improvements
The 10.13.03 release added the ability to determine if a customer is tax exempt. 10.13.04 introduces state-specific exemption at the basket and order level for customers, ensuring tax is only excluded when the customer is exempt in the shipping state.
