Did you try installing a 3rd party module that builds the export for you? EG http://www.emporiumplus.com/1AA00220.html

The example that comes with it when you install it produces the Google base/Froogle data feed in the correct format. It should take you no longer than 10 minutes to change the domain to match yours and add any extra columns needed for your product type.

This is definately the module you want. Template Data Feed by WCW. It can be modified to create a datafeed in any format you need. I use it to automatically create feeds for Google Base, Bing Shopping, TheFind, Amazon Pro Seller listing feed, and Auctiva datafeed to create Ebay Store listings. Have also used it for special inventory related projects.

You can export anything database related in ANY format or layout your need. Takes a little work to master the syntax and a little trial and error, but well worth it.

Rick, if you need a developer to help tweak the templates in Bill's module, let me know.

The Google Base feed winds are a changin - Bill is working on figuring out the NEW requirements from Google so that the Template Data Feed module will be able to support it.

At one point in time this used to work.

                    Header:
                    Code:
                    link%^%title%^%description%^%image_link%^%price%^%id%^%expiration_date%^%brand%^%condition%^%product_type
                    Product (Short Link Style):
                    Code:
