Category display on HTML page & footer

I am trying to accomplish two things.

First, we have an extensive reference section on one of our websites that is being upgraded from Miva 4.X to 5.5 version 8. There are hundreds of original articles, all static HTML pages. We receive a lot of traffic in this section and would like to do one of two things during the move. Either recreate the pages in Miva (if we can do it without changing the URL) and embed code in the page footer to show products either from a particular category or search results from a particular (embedded) search term. The search results being preferred.

The other option would be to just move the pages over as is and add the code to the bottom of the existing HTML pages to display the products under the article as described above.

The second project is to pull category listings / display from a different domain embedded in an HTML page. Not looking to run Miva on the other domain, just create a landing page for a specific category that updates on the fly.

Jim, I think we can help with that. Shoot an email to [email protected] or call 866-400-2444 or 321-305-4930 to talk it through.
    Thanks,
