Need programming to modify OSEL shipping cost to calculate truck freight expense

Hello forum: Below is the outline of what we are seeking. Initial requirements are presented, complete requirements will be defined with the party which will perform the modifications needed.
Looking for a programming & testing price quote to modify the Miva Merchant module OSEL processing that will determine a freight quote for items requiring shipment by truck using shipping company's YRC API interface: http://www.yrc.com/tools/ezrate.cgi/.

Current shipping cost method:
We currently use the Viking Coders UPS shipping module to determine shipping.

Modification needed:
1. Products in the shopping basket must be separated by type of shipping required. Items eligible for shipping via UPS must be passed to the Viking Coders UPS calculation. Items needing shipment by truck, must be passed to the YRC shipping API. The cost of shipping by both methods must be displayed separately on the OSEL page and the total cost passed onto the remainder of the checkout processing as a single sum.

2. Items requiring shipping by UPS are identified as having a product weight of less than 150 pounds.

3. Items requiring shipping by YRC are identified as having a product weight of greater than 149 pounds.

Additional requirements for this task:
1. We are a drop shipper, so origination zip code(s) for freighted items in a basket may be different.
2. The freighted item zip code is defined in the Viking UPS tab of the product definition. This must be retrieved and used by the YRC API when calculating freight. It appears that individual calls to the YRC API will be required for each different zip code.
3. A method to mask/hide freighted items from the Viking UPS module is needed. Possibly temporary removal from the basket prior to exercising the Viking UPS module or ?.
