    Diagnosing Miva MySQL Bottleneck Issue

Is there anyone that has expertise on diagnosing and isolating MySQL bottlenecks in Miva? We have had some performance issues and near site crashes during peak traffic times on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Miva suggests that we analyze the slow-query.log to identify the feature and/or third-party module that may be monopolizing the MySQL service. Looking for someone that can assist us with this.

    Thank you.

We have a service that does exactly that, called an Enterprise Site Review.

Do you have to be hosted with Miva?

Where can I find the details?

I'll have Philip post, but hosting with us might be your first step to fixing your problem

          Hi there,

You don't have to be hosted with us to do the evaluation. We will need access to the store and server, however. Here's a high-level overview of the audit: http://www.miva.com/products/MMESA

Prior to jumping into it, however, a brief chat could address any glaring issues we've seen and can address without doing the larger review. Please contact me directly to set up a time for a brief call.

          Best!

Are you sure you are actually using MySQL? In your admin, look on the right side, about halfway down for something like this:

            Miva Merchant 9.0004
            MivaScript Engine v5.22
            Database API: mysql
