Inventory levels not changing

  • Inventory levels not changing

    Hi -

    We are running a product demonstration this year and we want people to be able to reserve products by day, time, and location. We have 8 units available for each day/time/event slot.

    I listed the product, selected 'track inventory' and did the attribute and inventory variants. On the main page it shows quantity of 1. When I go to edit inventory it shows the correct inventory of 8 for each day/time/event slot.

    Problem is when I got to view cart the main product says 0 available for immediate delivery.

    However if I go to the product and select to purchase it will allow me to put 100 in my shopping cart.

    We are not charging for this product... Our goal is for people to reserve it without having to call into our office.

    Any help?

    Hello,

    The reason it lets you add a quantity of 100 on, http://store.dui-online.com/product/..._BlueHeat.html is because you need to configure the Low Stock Level: and or the Out of Stock Level: settings on the main inventory settings. These are located on the left hand nav of your admin, click on inventory settings and you'll see the out of stock settings, you are currently not tracking those.
