Excluding Products from Basket Discount

Thank you, Brennan...I got it to work, excluding the certain products in the same cart! Only thing now is, I need to add this Price Group to roughly 1400 products. Is there a mass way to add products to a price group without going into each product?

basket discounts are intended to be applied to all products. If you need to limit the products you'll need to setup a product discount which allows you to select which products get included in the discount.

In 9.0007 we're adding the ability to exclude products from a discount.

I need to know how to exclude certain products (perhaps 20 out of 1400+) from a Basket Discount code. Have tried searching, but can't get anything to work!
