Once you put the CERT folder back and have the path correctly set in your settings, you should no longer have those security settings unchecked.

Corrective actions for iv 5.32 to work as follows;

Retain CERT folder from the previous version
Upgrade to v 5.32
Replace new CERT folder with retained CERT folder from the previous version.

Set option settings as illustrated in the picture.


This is the fix for the folks who will carry out an upgrade.

I don't know how and what Miva will have to do for people who are installing v 5.32 for the first time to make it work!

The newer versions of the engine no longer include the individual SSL certificate chains and when you installed a newer version I'm guessing the OpenSSL certificates folder was replaced. You need to retain those certificate directories from a previous version and add them back in (cadir configuration option) or you can use the cafile configuration option to point to a master certificate authority file.

I wouldn't spend time on that avenue of thought, miva mia mvcall should work on outgoing https calls as long as openssl is installed right (or rather, that's how it used to work.)

I don't think the devs at miva monitor this forum so contacting them first hand would probably at least get you an official answer.

I think there is a missing step that needs to be carried out for it to work, in my view. I think there has to be a local SSL certificate in order for it to work as https!

I don't know how to obtain one or create one in order for it to work.

I hope the Miva Support Team can provide the community with more detail clarification.

That was my only idea. If it works for 5.27 and not 5.32 then you may want to open a bug report ticket with miva.

I'm rusty with miva mia setups because I haven't used it in a while as a result of these kinds of issues and not being able to utilize an htaccess file. I started running an ubuntu box with miva empressa in a vmware player a few years ago which works great, although it does open up a whole new set of issues including the super steep learning curve on how to get all that working.

I have uploaded the new version of OPENSSL

The environment is checked; Path is ok

OPENSSL_CONF = C:\OpenSSL\win32\1.1\bin\openssl.cfg

I can uninstall this and install 5.27 and it works fine.

Did you install OpenSSL in windows? If so, you may have to update it to get rid of those errors.

Hello, I have just upgraded from Miva Mia 5.27 to 5.32 ( 32 bit ) on Windows 7. since the upgrade MvCALL related function fails. Diagtool is generating the following messages.
