    Some help about website compatibility

I'm a bit confused... I would appreciate any help

I want to build an online shop but the more I read, the more I'm confused and don't know what to do.
My site is built using https://themesgenerator.com/ which is a Wordpress builder, so I won't be using any of your themes.
I thought that MIVA was like woocommerce, you install the plugin and that's it. But I read this thread https://www.miva.com/forums/forum/on...ss-integration about Wordpress intergeneration so I don't know if I'm right anymore and if I can use MIVA with a Wordpress site...anyone can help?

    Thanks!

Miva is not like WooCommerce. WooCommerce is a plugin for WordPress and Miva is a complete ecommerce platform that does not sit on top of WordPress.
    Thanks,

To be more illustrative....WooCommerce is like jacking up your grandma's Cadillac, putting knobby tires on it and calling it an 'off-road' vehicle.

To clarify what these fine gentlemen have already said, if you used Miva Merchant as your ecommerce solution it would be a complete replacement of Wordpress.

Point of clarification - could be a complete replacement. You might still use WordPress for blogging or there are modules (plug-ins) that can be used to blog within Miva Merchant. Also the fine gentleman - Scot - has a few tricks up his developer sleeve that will turn heads.

Also, your security levels with Miva Merchant are outstanding!
