Offer product in increments / case, master case

We have some locks we sell singly and then want to sell them in increments based on how they come packed.

We were using volume discounts but not sure if it would be possible to force the packing issue at the top level ie

    1 -single
    12 - inner pack
    48 - 4 12 packs per case
    96 - 2 cases per master case

with volume pricing it would end up being 96+ so we could have some order 100 and be forced to break up a box. What would be ideal is have the ability to have a 'group by' or 'increment by' option to sell them in a way that matches our boxes and be able to have the volume discount.

96+ - sold in increments we designate ie 'increment by 12 so after 96 they could order 108, 120, 132 etc

Trying to see if this can be done with inventory variants but never used these and in my tests just now couldn't figure it out.

Would you be able to use Miva's inventory kit functionality? The functionality allows you to assign multiple products to an inventory variant as well as quantity of that product. So the 96 qty attribute you can assign the case product to the variant then apply the quantity of 2.

Here is a link to documentation on inventory kits which has an example using a computer package, https://docs.miva.com/reference-guid...ry-kit-builder

I had seen that in a search and tried but wasn't getting what I expected. Let me give it another whirl. Maybe I was misunderstanding the way it works.
