We have generated a inventory variants (required and track inventory) for our products. When generated, the price is controlled by the variant.
We used abbreviations for the code that are cryptic on the order confirmation email so we want to change the codes WITHOUT regenerating the variants.
Will there be any problem if we change the attribute codes AFTER we have generated the inventory variants?
I've done a couple tests and do not notice a problem. The inventory variant product name does not change when I change the attribute code.
Worried this is causing some corruption....
