Emporium Coupon Redemption Module - update the whole module, not just half of it!

I discovered by accident that when you update the Emporium Plus Coupon Redemption module you MUST update both the couponrd.mvc AND the couponrp.mvc - if you don't it can break your check out!

Thanks to Jim and support team for finding this.

I think you need to update all three modules from what I can see in the file notes. I haven't updated my live site yet but did this on our dev site.

"Be sure to update all three modules in the attached coupon.zip file."

    couponrp.mvc
    couponrd.mvc
    cim_log.mvc

I've referring to the '"Stop Sign" message when you run the update - it only says to update the Coupon module (it's not clear in it's message). The other problem with the zip file is you don't know what version the module are in the file. So you may or may not need to update the cim_log.mvc.

LOL, support just said to update the 2 and I told Jim I would pass the message along.

Yeah I just remember getting my wrist slapped from Bill multiple times in years past when updating his modules. He would respond with "please read the instructions" LOL!!

Here is another line from the instructions:
"Follow the instructions below very closely. More than one store has messed up and crashed their module because they did not follow the instructions."

LOL, yeah. If you slowly and carefully read what he wrote you pretty much would never have an issue.
