Braintree Not working?

    Braintree Not working?

    Hi,

    Has anyone else had an issue with this. We've had Braintree working fine until today. Now when you submit card details it just hangs up and does not get processed.

    I've opened a ticket but just wondered if anyone else had the same issue.

    We are experiencing an issue which may be affecting Enterprise Solutions (Braintree), 3D Secure on the Braintree platform. Impacted requests may return these errors:

    - authentication_unavailable
    - lookup_error

    Our technical teams are actively working towards resolving the issue with our Enterprise Solutions (Braintree), 3D Secure provider.

      I don't believe we are on enterprise but we haven't had any issues. We also don't use 3D Secure.

      Maybe find out if you're on enterprise and if not, turn off 3d secure temporarily until they fix the issues and enable the Premium Fraud Protection?



      While we are on the topic, will there be any updates to the Braintree payment module since they are discontinuing Kount Fraud Protection in favor of Premium Fraud Protection Advanced?

      The following is in the Braintree admin:
      Kount Custom Notice
      Fraud Protection Advanced (FPA) is now available for Braintree merchants and Kount Custom will be discontinued. Merchants who haven’t transitioned from Kount Custom to Fraud Protection Advanced by March 1, 2022, will automatically be migrated. Please contact your customer success manager or [email protected] so that we can work with you to conduct a thorough analysis before migrating you to FPA.
      Will people just need to be aware to not check that box or check the box with the understanding that it will actually mean they are using Premium Fraud Protection Advanced within the Braintree Admin?
