Replacing Emporium Plus Tool Kit Waitlist

We need to replace Old Man Weiland's Tool Kit Waitlist.

    Questions:
    1. Can Tool Kit Waitlist data be exported and if so, how?
    2. Can Tool Kit Waitlist data be imported to Waitlist by Tess and if so, how?
    Thank you, Bill Davis

I believe toolkit stores its waitlist data in standard custom product fields. You should be able to export the data using our standard product export. But there will likely be some excel/transaction work you would need to do to get into a format that you could import it into the other Waitlist module.

      FYI - https://apps.miva.com/emporium-plus-tool-kit.html item # 108

      To view a waitlist:

      2) In admin you can lookup wait list info by going to admin > utilities. Click the + to the left of the
      word utilities.

      a. You can view an individual's wait list by entering their email address and clicking the button.

      b. You can view all wait lists by using the custom product field search. Put the @ character in the
search input. Select contained in. For the field, select wait list. Click the button.

Got it, thanks Brennan and lesliekirk!

Last question, how does one import data to Waitlist by Tess (no mention in said documentation, and did not see any applicable import fields in Admin > Data Management)?
        Thank you, Bill Davis

Yeah, it's too bad there isn't an import module for the data. Or maybe a good step by step on how to do the JSON API to do this.

Wow, that's a tough one, we have over 500 on waitlist. That might be one of the reasons why there are still some store owners using MM4 and/or Emporium Plus modules, up hill path to update their platform.

I'm surprised Miva has yet to develop some type of solution to import data from Emporium Plus Waitlist to Waitlist by Tess.

I'll take this on if there's enough interest. If there are several stores that are willing to share the cost, I can provide it at a low price-per-store.
