I am looking for suggestions.... I have been using www.feedexact.com for years which has been amazing and can't imagine being without it. Category matching does the work of assigning to google product categories (match them once extremely easy setup).
However Miva has now "built in" this functionality but in my opinion they have not. It's pretty much impossible for us to use with 500k in variants we are stuck looking at a spinning hour glass until finally getting a ssl read timeout error. Are we really supposed to need to go to every variant to fill out all the same information? Current set up uses a module coupled with custom fields to take care of this for us. For instance we have a boot not available in different colors and the master image can be used for all the variants but with the Miva version we have to apply. Also sizing a pant can have multiple attributes to indicate size but google only provides one location. Feedexact allows us to specify how the sizes get arranged and what google sees.
I guess I'm not even really a 100% sure how Miva's version work considering it just times out on us half the time I haven't successfully gotten a single product to work. Anybody else selling clothing and footwear that comes in different sizes, widths etc. that has a cool solution?
