    Tab Order in Admin

Did this feature go away? I reordered my tabs in the past and double-checked here https://docs.miva.com/how-to-guides/...-order-of-tabs but I do not see any of these tabs in any of the indicated sections.

Press and hold on the tab you want to reorder. A window pops over where you can rearrange to your heart's content.

Thanks for reminding me. Now that I see it I remember. I guess the help file needs to be updated as I don't see that button as indicated anywhere.

Make sure to select and hold a tab already being displayed and not from the dropdown (more) option. Below is a quick video covering this.

Please provide me a link to the docs you reviewed and we can get that updated for you.

I did - thanks and thanks for the video. What confused me was on this page https://docs.miva.com/how-to-guides/...-order-of-tabs it shows a menu items that says "Edit Tab Display Order" and that is what I was looking for. I had forgotten about the little magic circle. :)

Thank you for providing the link. The team is working on updating the older docs but until that gets updated, reference the link below.

How do we change the order of the sections under Global Settings. For example, I used to be able to move the Global Header and Footer to the top of the list, but it looks like that has gone away. Can someone tell me what I am missing? Thanks!

Click & hold on one of the top tabs (e.g. the "settings" tab). You'll notice that you can rearrange items and their children within the same window.

Watch for a circle to form around the tab you are holding.

I was not able to figure it out till now when I looked it up on Google and found this post. The problem with features like this is that they are not used often and one forgets about it and there is no visual cue.
                      Thank you, Bill Davis
