Anyone collecting the new Colorado Delivery Fee yet?

I am curious if anyone has implemented a way to collect the new Colorado delivery fee yet. The only mention of it that I could find in the Miva world was for the AccurateTax module.

Before I custom code this delivery fee into Miva I wanted to see if there is any planned native functionality or 3rd party modules to handle this type of fee.

As of now TaxJar doesn't support it, and the AvaTax updates we've posted work (while not perfect) with Avalara. Accurate Tax is the only solution I know to handle it end to end as of yet.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't see this Miva Doc. How do I stay on top of new Miva docs like this? Is there a newsletter I am missing?

I use Avalara. I am going to look into implementing the code in the Miva Doc until the Avalara module is updated.

Point of clarification, please. Are you saying the Avalara Tax module also doesn't work with this?

It does work, but due to this being a "fee" and not a "tax" (I get the idiocy behind that), it's not handled like a normal tax (and to be fair it doesn't really behave like one either), so in the long run we have to add a field to make support via Avalara and Miva a little easier, but in the short run if you follow the link to the instructions above that works.

In addition if TaxJar decides to support it, we assume it'll be similar to Avalara and we'll do a doc then and decide if we need to add anything.
