    Search log?

Is there a way to keep a log of all customer searches? The posts I see here are old, and not sure if they are relevant any longer.

    Thanks for any direction provided.

    The basics:

    On the Search Page:
Create a file called Search_Log.dat and stuff it into the mivadata directory.
At the bottom of the search page use File_Append() to export the value of g.search on every page load. You might want to add "IP Addresss (or session id) and Time Stamp to get a better picture of how customers are interacting with search.

If you use Google Analytics, you can also set it up to track searches as well.
