Pickup & Delivery Module - Error: You must reserve a time slot

The subject of this pretty much sums it up. Downloaded/installed the module, followed all directions. Didn't really want the select date and time option, but couldn't get past the osel page without it. So, put it in osel, and still no dice...no button. Stuck.

    Item is assigned to osel
Javascript and CSS have osel assigned.
Inserted <div><mvt:item name="pickupdelivery" /></div> after the shipping foreach and before the continue button.
Options chosen for days in advance: 2, and Mon - Fri chosen.

I do see the button in the code for the page, along with the rest of the code required for the button

    Any help is appreciated.

I'm not familiar with that module. Who wrote it? Have you contacted the provider?

Not sure who wrote it. I got it from the Miva App Store: https://apps.miva.com/scheduled-pickup-delivery.html.

        Grateful for the reply Kent!

Can you send me a link to the store you're installing it on and I can take a look? Is the item tag inside the form on the page?

Brennan as always figures out the issue:'

"'Ok I was able to track this down. There was a JS error on the page because the JS for that module relies on the searchfield item being assigned to the page. I assigned it and now its working. "

Thank you so much Brennan! You are the best!!

I wanted to close the loop on this. That module relies on JS from the searchfield item. Its assigned to all runtime pages by default in new stores. If OSEL does not have it assigned, you will first need assign that item for the JS to work properly.

I'll make sure the Docs get updated as well to reflect this dependancy.

Another question....now that the module is working. In the admin, the store is listed as the US location. Is there any way we can remove that address so it does not display on OSEL, or any other page it may come up with the module? The module is on our Canadian site, and for Canadians, so we don't want them to think they have to come to the US.

Is there a reason you can't change the store address in the admin to the Canadian address?

If you have a separate store for Canadian commerce, you should be able to change the address on the Store Settings admin page.

You can also edit the template for OSEL, or any of the other shopping pages, so that the address is not displayed, or so that it shows a different address from the one entered in the admin settings.

Yes. That is something I've thought about. It is a subdomain. Don't know how important it is for Miva to have the US address in the admin.
