Block a customer from ordering.

We have a wholesale customer that needs to be blocked from ordering temporarily. Basically looking a way to disable to add to cart button.

What would be the best way to do this? Would it be as easy as creating a availability group and assign this customer to the group and use it to disable add to cart button
or is there any easier way to do this.

If you have his IP address (in newer miva versions, this is already captured in a custom order field so look up past orders) you can use the Authorization Blacklist feature under Payments.

If not, you'll need to do something like wrap the final Continue button with some conditional like <mvt:if exper="l.settings:basket:bill_email EQ ima@scummy_person.com">

Just blocking Add to basket wont help if they are at all determined.
