After Miva Upgrade we now have 14 unreferenced Images

We like to keep a taught ship... Zero unreferenced images, zero unassigned products, zero broken links, etc.

After installing the latest offered Miva updates (10.06.00) we now have in Image Management 14 unreferenced images (Reference Count = 0) and don't like it because it looks sloppy.

It is my belief that an image with a reference count of zero means it is out there and in the Image Engine but not assigned to a product.

Opened a ticket with support and can't get a good explanation - so after looking at the images I suggested they might be part of PageBuilder and since Levels ReadyTheme doesn't support PageBuilder we will never be using it or those images (if that's what they are) so it should be safe to delete the unreferenced images.

Does that sound like what these "new" images installed by Miva are?

It seems odd that Miva would install a bunch of unreferenced images because it kinda looks like something is wrong - all those zeros when before we had no zeros.

If support could just say "Yes - those are for the PageBuilder and if you not going to use PageBuilder you can delete them" but they don't seem to know.

Yes I can confirm for you that those images are all part of the latest shadows and used in Page Builder.

Yes, you can use PageBuilder. You just have to make some tweaks as outlined here https://docs.miva.com/miva10/referen...to-pagebuilder

        Thanks all.

It is my recollection than in an old Miva Internet video event about PageBuilder the question about compatibility with Levels was asked and the answer was no but I could be wrong about that or maybe things have changed with the tweaks.

Anywho it will not be happening on this site so I'm going to whack those unreferenced images.

Maybe nobody but me makes a practice of regular checks for unreferenced images, broken links, etc. but I like to know that there is nothing hanging around that might be an (even small) hiccup or issue.

Yeah for the record Page Builder will work on any CSSUI/Shadows based site which includes Levels (and really all the Ready Themes).

You have to do some minor edits if you want to edit an existing page however.
          Thanks,

Oh yeah, it's a little wonky with the Base (Bootstrap) ReadyTheme but it's like Rick said, it's just some minor edits to make it behave.
