    Sending Invoice for PO Order

We have some wholesale customers who place orders through our website but no payment is collected and we don't invoice them until the order is ready to fulfill and ship.

We would like to send an invoice through Miva (maybe through the Orders screen). Is that possible?

The hope would be that the system can generate an invoice, send it to the customer and the customer can click a link and go make a payment to complete the order.
If this can't be done natively in Miva, is there an app or module that can be used for this?

    Thank you!

You can trigger the sending of order-related emails using a dialog box that pops up on the Orders page. You can create a new email template that looks about the same as the existing order confirmation, but it has some different text and a "Pay Now" button.
The "Pay Now" function is a little harder to do. I think you'll need a module for that. There used to be an "External Product" module that would let customers enter their own price; I don't know if that's still available. I have a small utility module that can be used for that type of task. If you don't find a better solution, you can email me to discuss it.

Ok, thank you Kent! We will check out what options are already available in Miva and potentially reach out to discuss something custom.

I think that Miva's native Manage Quotes might be work in your setup, https://docs.miva.com/miva10/referen...uotes-overview

The functionality can be set up so that the customer submits their cart contents and it is added to the Manage Quotes screen in Miva that is very similar to the Order Processing Screen. From there prices can be adjusted and any other modifications if needed as well as the ability to send the Quote to the customer. From there the customer can accept the quote from the email and the link will add the contents to the cart so they can complete the checkout process.
