    Leveraging Sales Data

We are interested in a mechanism to leverage our sales data. Is there some way within Miva or perhaps a third-party application that can connect to Miva, allowing us to break out orders by the category of products each order contains? So, for example, we sell maps, it would be great if we could look up anyone who has purchased a map in for example the 'West Indies' category, then sort by the frequency of such orders and the value.

    Any advice is appreciated.

A few options to look at

    1. Miva's native reporting has the ability to limit by a category. So you can see sales data for all products in a specific category. You can then pin these to the dashboard to see them at a glance as new orders come in.

    2. You can look at modules on the app store such as this one: https://apps.miva.com/advanced-sales-reports.html

    3. If you're looking for more advanced reporting, there are services such as glew.io which can pull data to Miva and provide you advanced customized reporting.

    4. You can pass product categories into Google Analytics and be able to get this type of data there as well.
