    Partial Order Cancel

Is there a way to partially cancel an order? Store occasionally has an order for multiple items and one of the items in the order has become unavailable. Is there a way to cancel just that item? The way the docs read, it sounds like it's an all-or-nothing thing. Hope I'm just missing something.

You can delete an item from an order. just select the item in the list, click Delete. However, you'll have to manually calculate the refund (including taxes and discounts). This would be a cool 'dream feature'. have a 'Refund' button that, if used when an item(s) is selected, recalculates every thing and even populates the 'refund' amount (or just does that automatically). There are features for 'recalculate' taxes, shipping and i thing discount, but not sure why those are separate items. just run them all and SHOW the difference.

lesliekirk Yes, when viewing the order details screen in the admin you can select an item then choose the Cancel button (the button will only be active if the item has not been shipped). That will show the status of the item as cancelled: https://docs.miva.com/miva10/referen...is%20cancelled.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure because those docs really were not clear. I read it to mean, you click cancel and it's the whole order gone, poof.

If the item is cancelled, the status is cancelled.
Is this the Order Status? Or a line item status that the customer can review in their order history?

The order status should not change if other items exist on the order. If you cancel ALL items on the order, then the order status will be set to cancelled.
