Price Groups and Add-on Products

Okay, back to this. I tried the bot. Gave it the rephrased question but the answer is vague:

The answer doesn't mention if it should be a Qualifying Subtotal or a Basket Subtotal. Currently, it's set to Basket Subtotal. In this configuration, it has all of the Qualifying Products assigned (which is what the store owner needs). The free gift is entered in the Add-on Product field.


So, I either need a better formatted question for the AI or a little more help please.

I need a refresher/reminder regarding Add-on Products and other discounts. The store owner wants to offer a free gift when $300 is spent AFTER all other discounts are taken. What is the best way to make sure the free gift is only offered to a basket total after other price groups?
