CategoryProduct_Assign Auto Add/Remove

I am looking for a way to automatically assign and remove products from a Sales category based on a schedule.

I was thinking about creating a few different import files that would assign and remove the product, and then run those via scheduled tasks, but that could get hard to manage.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a utility module that can be used for that sort of job. It can render any page template at times set by a scheduled task. The "page" template can be a script that uses some library calls to assign and unassign products. If that's of interest, you can PM or email me to discuss it.
