SMS Messaging Update

Any updates to adding SMS messaging (i.e, admin emails basically) to miva aside from using a third-party system and SMT template coding?
Just curious. I know its not that difficult for US to do this (we use Red Oxygen or Twilio as the 3rd party provider).

I believe both Sendlane and Klayvio support them and we have supported modules for both (from us).
