    Miva Marketplace Google Shopping Feed

When I try to use the Miva Marketplace Google Shopping Feed I get the following error when trying to add my Google account:
    This app is blocked
This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.
Is there a fix for this?

laserdisc_king That error you see is because the Miva Marketplace Google Shopping feed is no longer a verified application according to Google. If you want to still use the module you can select the Advanced setting which you will see:

Continue only if you understand the risks and trust the developer ([email protected]).
    Go to thelicensemanager.com (unsafe)

Selecting "Go to thelicensemanager.com (unsafe)" will allow you to install the module within your store.

That being said the module has some known bugs and may not fully support variants specifically.

An alternate route would be to use a product feed that is connected to your Google Merchant account. Setting up a product feed in Miva can be done within Marketing > Feeds section of the admin.

You would need to create a template that matches the template provided by Google and outputs a file on the server. Then once the feed is created you can setup a Scheduled Task in Miva under store settings that will run the task nightly to make sure that the product feed is always updated.

Thanks for the info, Nick. I already have the module installed. I do not see the "Advanced" setting.

What is required for the Miva Marketplace Google Shopping feed to be a verified application according to Google?

laserdisc_king Once you add your account a popup should appear where you select your Google account then you should see the following screen:
        google.png

I am not exactly sure the process for approval that Google requires for approval, however the application works as expected except when using variants in some cases.

I must have an older version because I don't have the advanced option (see screenshot).

laserdisc_king I think it is your browser. Try using Chrome and see if you see the same results.
