No the other gateways aren't going anywhere.
New MivaPay which is basically in a light launch mode right now is our answer to Shopify Payments and ShopPay. For new clients who signup they have a pricing model a la Shopify where you pay more to use any processor you want or less if you use either MivaPay (new), PayPal, or our other "in network" providers.
Over time we'll add more features as PayPal adds them and we find them valuable for our merchants to include in MivaPay powered by PayPal.

As for what I meant, I meant if someone signs up for MivaPay and still has an Auth.net account, normally they'd leave it open for 6 months or so until they no longer need it and then they'd close it.
