Huh? Sorry you've totally lost me lesliekirk

No the other gateways aren't going anywhere.

New MivaPay which is basically in a light launch mode right now is our answer to Shopify Payments and ShopPay. For new clients who signup they have a pricing model a la Shopify where you pay more to use any processor you want or less if you use either MivaPay (new), PayPal, or our other "in network" providers.

Over time we'll add more features as PayPal adds them and we find them valuable for our merchants to include in MivaPay powered by PayPal.

Feel free to email me if you're still lost, but highjacking this thread is probably not helping the confusion issue.

As for what I meant, I meant if someone signs up for MivaPay and still has an Auth.net account, normally they'd leave it open for 6 months or so until they no longer need it and then they'd close it.
    Thanks,

LOL Rick Wilson it was my thread, and I didn't feel that William Davis question was fully answered. I do now feel that his question was answered with a much better description of what MivaPay is. I did not want to "assume" that it was similar to Shopify Payments and ShopPay (although that is exactly what it sounded like to me). Some store owners only know Miva and have never ventured outside of its realm, never knowing of what we speak.
