This was a great solution, so was Affiliate Manager, etc -I miss those two solutions!

mikeWorks.com (Michael Brock) was one of several Miva Merchant third-party developers associated with Viking Coders’ stable of talent back in the “KoolKat” days (a bit before your time).

We began using many of their modules shortly after I started with Miva MM4.0 OpenUI in 1999 (Storefront Templates, Category Page Templates, Product Page Templates, Search Manager, Vendor Manager, Affiliate Manager, etc.). Hard to believe I still have all of those files archived.

Similar to Affiliate Manager, the Vendor Manager module was very elaborate. Store owners could assign products to a specific vendor, configure individual vendor terms, generate monthly vendor statements, maintain vendor payment history, and control vendor notifications for drop shipping. It was extremely well thought out and ahead of its time.

Unfortunately, we stopped using it when we migrated to MM5.5.

I don't know if Viking still has a modern version, they might. And Mike Brock still does some work for them as well. So this would be to manage PO's to resupply stock from your vendors?

Rick Wilson — quick clarification: I’m not primarily looking for PO resupply / purchasing.

The legacy Vendor Manager was a back-end vendor/consignor settlement system:

• assign products to vendors/consignors
• vendor-specific terms/commissions
• vendor statements (monthly)
• payment history / payout ledger
• vendor notifications (including drop-ship routing)

It provided vendor settlement reporting (statements + payout history), not just purchasing/PO workflows? I have the old documentation if you are curious.
