When building a Google Shopping Feed, there are Google Shopping Custom Fields (did these come from the Marketplaces Google Shopping?). One of them is Ignore Product. If this is used how will the product be ignored? Will it not be included in the feed (it looks like the answer is no). Will Google "obey" this? I see they have something called [excluded_destination] and the product can be excluded from "Free_listing". I am not finding any connection to the "Ignore Product". I need something other than making the product inactive to exclude it from the feed. Perhaps a conditional?

lesliekirk Google merchant feed has an excluded_destination attribute that lets you prevent your product from appearing in chosen locations (ad types or surfaces) within Google's ecosystem. Think of "destinations" as the different places your product could show up — Shopping ads, Display ads, free listings, etc.
To remove the product from the feed itself you would need utilize Miva Product Custom Field feature by creating a custom field that when checked the feed creation process will not add the product. How is the feed being created currently? Can you add a custom field and logic in the feed template to not include products with a checked custom field?
I will be announcing a new feed tool at Camp Miva that will create a default Google Merchant XML or CSV feed with an ignore product custom field to remove products from the feed. If you email developer support I can share the tool with you.Nicholas Adkins
