    MailChimp Stopped Syncing

Has anyone had an issue like this with Mailchimp? I have two stores connected to Mailchimp with the Miva built in module. It looks like both stopped syncing about a month ago. The sync logs show an error: MER-FUF-MLCP-00077: Your API key may be invalid, or you've attempted to access the wrong datacenter. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the module but now I am not able to complete the setup to Mailchimp. I can get all of the way through setup to where you select the mailing list and currency but why I try to save I get: "Failed to create Mailchimp store after 50 attempts".

Jim Cockerham We have not had any reports of MailChimp syncing issues. Our team is testing with our sandbox account but in the meantime I would reach out to MailChimp support and see if there are any issues with the accounts you are trying to setup.

Hi Nick, yes I did talk with them. They could only go so far before they told me to contact Miva since the integration was created by Miva.

        Hi Jim,
I tried setting up Mailchimp in my test store and everything is working for me. So im not sure what the initial error you were getting was about. “MER-FUF-MLCP-00077: Your API key may be invalid, or you've attempted to access the wrong datacenter”

now, your second error. "Failed to create Mailchimp store after 50 attempts" is one I have seen during testing, this happens if I delete a Miva store without first uninstalling the Mailchimp module. When that happens the Mailchimp “store” record is left in place on the Mailchimp side, and when you try to setup the MailChimp module again in Miva we can’t create a MailChimp store because one with the same name already exists.

Two ways I know around this, 1 rename your store in miva, this will change the store name that we are trying to register with Mailchimp and allow you to complete setup.
2, delete the store record at Mailchimp, I don’t know of a way to do this via the Mailchimp website but maybe Mailchimp support will know of a way? I do know there is an API call that can delete the store record at Mailchimp but that is not part of our Mailchimp module.

Hi Eric, thanks for your input. Is there any downside to renaming the store?

Hi Eric, thanks for your help. I tried removing the integration on Mailchimp's website, then uninstalling the module in Miva and then renaming the store but I still get the "50 attempts" error. As of now according to what I see on MailChimp's website I have no Miva integrations. I have disabled the modules in both of my websites and renamed the store but still no luck. Any other thoughts?

Hi Jim, I'm Surprised that renaming the store did not work, at this point it would probably best to create a support ticket with miva, to try and diagnose further what is happening.

Yeah, I have a support ticket in but so far no luck. I tried renaming the store and evening changing the store code. I tried creating a new list on Mailchimp and linking the store to that. Always get that same error. Thanks for your response though.
