The docs are very good at showing how to limit which products will be displayed in the new Option 1 store. Is there a way for these products to only be displayed in the Option 1 Store? Wouldn't the Multi-Domain URIs be a good place to control? Or have I missed something in the set up?

I need clarification of this statement:
Can the primary storefront have its own unique subset of products? Again, in other words, is there a way to only display the other store(s) subset of products in that store? Each storefront shows a unique subset of products
Also under the Global Data Architecture Limits Domain Independence:
Again, it mentions "different products." Again, I am confused...While each domain can show different products
I obviously don't understand the limitations of catalog subsets:
- You understand limitations and can use catalog subsets and customizations to mask global logic.

lesliekirk When using Option 1 the primary domain will ALWAYS include ALL the products. You can not limit categories or products from the primary domain.
The second part means this:
Primary Domain: PRODUCT_A & PRODUCT_B & PRODUCT_C & PRODUCT_D
Multi-Domain One: PRODUCT_A & PRODUCT_B
Multi-Domain Two: PRODUCT_C & PRODUCT_D
Each Multi Domain can show different products.Last edited by Nick; Today, 07:56 AM.Nicholas Adkins

Just to clarify:Originally posted by Nick View Postlesliekirk When using Option 1 the primary domain will ALWAYS include ALL the products. You can not limit categories or products from the primary domain.
The second part means this:
Primary Domain: PRODUCT_A & PRODUCT_B & PRODUCT_C & PRODUCT_D
Domain One: PRODUCT_A & PRODUCT_B
Domain Two: PRODUCT_C & PRODUCT_D
Each Multi Domain can show different products.Primary Domain - the domain name you log into the store admin with all the Branches.
Domain One - first Option 1 domain name with its own Branch look & feel.
Domain Two - second Option 1 domain name with its own Branch look & feel
For a total of 3 domain names.
Is this correct?Leslie Kirk
